One week passed by so fast! Our boy’s first week of school flew by just like that. My hubby was only around on his first day of school and he had to travel the next day to Camerons for the retreat with the students at the training center.
I was very anxious, knowing I’d be alone the rest of the week with the kids. Of course, I have released him to travel without us already… fully released. But I couldn’t help feeling really anxious.
Well, I’m glad to say now that it wasn’t that bad. I and ds sent him to school in a stroller. I should have taken picture of it, with the two of them in the stroller. It’s fun to walk to his school twice a day. First to send him and the next is to pick him up.
I consider it a blessing to have his school nearby… and to be able to walk him to school too. I get a dose of my daily exercise. I stopped doing my exercise (walking) after I gave birth to my second child. Didn’t really have time to do so. Now I have the opportunity to go back into it again. Until… well, until I decide to finally get into the car and drive! I think my laziness will call for it. I just hope it won’t strike me (laziness) again.

Walking with kids is a blessing, and having school nearby is a blessing, too! I’m glad you enjoyed it. God bless.
First week at school is always memorable, both for the child and the parents. It’s good to hear that you had a good time this week.
Wishing you the same for the next week.
May you always be within walking distance of your child’s school. He will get in less trouble that way…LOL
