Hair Loss

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

A lot of people are worried about hair loss. Most of those that are affected are men. Some men just couldn’t take having a hair loss. Some would even implant hair after experiencing a rapid hair loss. There are also women who suffer from hair loss. A lot more women nowadays do. For women who lose hair is quite scary. What are the causes of hair loss? Some could be genetic. Some would be physical environmental issues. Other cause could be problems with anxieties and worries. Yes, when you worry too much, it could cause some kind of hair loss.

Experts say our tresses usually grow at the rate of about one-half inch per month — with each hair having a growth phase of two to six years. At that point the hair “rests” for a period of time, then falls out — and the follicle from which it sprang soon starts growing a new strand. And so the cycle continues, usually well into our senior years.

For us women, hair is our defining point in our personal style. That’s why there was so much rage when Britney Spears shaved her head bald. Anyways, my point is that there are a lot of hair loss products available. They’re even available online. Have you heard about Provillus? I think it’s a new rave of today. I found this out when I was doing my Provillus review.

Medical Training

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

I’m not trained medically but I become an instant doctor when babies in the house get sick. I try using all the natural remedies I know to get my babies well again. Of course, I do send them to the professional doctors, especially their pediatrician if I notice that something is really really wrong. But when they have slight fevers, cough or cold, I try using natural remedies first. After three days of having fever, if fever doesn’t subside, then something must be happening. I wouldn’t know what to do then.

I have a little bit knowledge in terms of medicine, like a few terms and terminologies. Of course, experience alone is not enough. You have to undergo some kind of professional training. Sonography, for instance, is somewhat an easy job. Well, it looks like it is. But you cannot simply perform sonography if you haven’t undergone the proper training. Ultrasound tech requires knowledge to be able to perform the work well and to be able to read the results. There are Ultrasound tech schools that are available. For those who wanna do sonogram professionally, you may consider going to Ultrasound technician school. With their expert knowledge in this field, ultrasound technologists are at a cutting edge of bettering people’s lives by exploring the limits of the ultrasound for the medical industry.

My Bad

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Last December was the most trying time for us. We were so broke. Of course, nobody knew coz I made it a point to make our Christmas holidays special, with or without money. Most of our Christmas dinners were on potluck so I didn’t have to spend a lot on buying groceries for our food. I just bought some new things, small small things for our house decoration to make an ambiance for Christmas. The giveaways I prepare for each guest that come to our house was not that expensive either. I just wrapped them in a very special wrapper, which was recycled, and voila! I have created a very special Christmas Surprise for my guests.

Well, you might wanna ask me why we were so broke. Actually, throughout the year, we have used our credit cards tactlessly. By the end of the year, we have reached our credit limit and we couldn’t use any of them. Plus, there’s a lot more things we spent that even our money in the bank was used up. So the main reason of our being broke was the misuse of our credit card.

That’s why, for the new year 2008, hubby and I have resolved to be careful in our spending habit. We have learned a lesson. Expensive lesson it may be, but quite a good lesson.

They’re outhere

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

They’re out there to get you. Just waiting for you to make that special wrong move and they’ll snarl at you. Not directly sometimes… but when you meet them, you will look into their eyes, you will definitel discern it. They pull you down, never ever giving you a chance. They have clouded their eyes with jealousy towards you. The moment they think you’re doing a bit better than them, they will definitely try to put you down. They wanna be better. So they make it a point to let everybody know they’re a lot better. More like crabs. Crabs don’t like other crabs to go up… they pull each other down that at the end of the day, nobody could go up. Yes, there are people who has this crab mentality.

They’re outhere. Jealous, feeling so insecure. They’re watching your life like a hawk. They will express their happiness superficially when you do good things. Just so to cover that raging  feelings and insecurities inside them.

They’re outher to get you. Better be careful.

On Driving

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

Since I have grumbled so much about my driving, I feel that I should write my progress. As I’ve told you I got very upset with my hubby’s comment… now I wanna tell you that he was right after all. I wasn’t/aint able to drive the boy to school without practice… a LOT of practice.

So the next day, I tried my hands on the steering wheel again. I drove to school with hubby around. But the car stopped at the middle of the road and there was one car behind us. I got panicked again, so I asked hubby to switch seats real fast. I wouldn’t know what to do if I was alone.

But this morning, I have finally driven my son all the way to school and home. With hubby around. On first gear the whole time. Hehehe. Cheater! But of course, I have to get that much needed confidence first, right?. So I wasn’t changing gears.

But after school, my hubby had too many things to do he didn’t come to pick my boy up from school. No. I didn’t drive. Went to school with Samantha and the stroller. It was very hot but I took umbrella with me and asked my boy to hold it up for him and Samantha while I push the stroller. Smart idea, hey?

I’m taking my driving lessons slowly. Apparently.
