Seems to me that google has updated her page ranking again. Some of the blogs I usually got a very high PR. I am so happy for them. But I can’t see my PR2 for this blog now. But when I checked on some seo pr checker, pr2 for this blog was still there. Hopefully it will stay on. Keeping my fingers crossed… really.

But to my friends who has gotten their PRs and have an increase in their PRs, Congratulations!

  • My boy had started going to this year. He goes to Q-dess Kindergarten. I’ve heard that it’s one of the best kindy school in Malaysia. And the plus point is that it is just walking distance from where we live. Four blocks away from the house. That’s great for me because I don’t drive yet. So when my husband is not around to pick him up from school, I walk there, taking my baby girl in a stroller. Sometimes, it can get quite hot. So I put sunscreen lotion for my boy’s skin before going to school and for my girl just before we go and walk to the school. The sun’s scorching heat can cause damage to the kids’ skin, so I make sure they’re protected. It’s better to prevent than to cure, isn’t it?

I have to use sunscreen for my face everyday too. Nowadays, with a lot of products available in the market, it’s hard to choose which product is good for us. Maybe, tryScreen, Inc.. It’s a new product that can be used everyday without damaging your skin.

And yes, another exciting day as today is MPH bookshop warehouse sale. I have invited two of my friends to go with me. This was gonna be my first time to go out without kids and hubby for a long long time. So, I’m quite excited.

Unfortunately, one of my friends couldn’t go with us. That left me with my other friend, Aletta, who decided to bring her two kids along. We left at 2:00pm but reached the place at 4:30pm! We were a bit lost. Driving in KL can be a bit crazy coz once you miss one turning, it would be another half an hour to one hour to be able to make a u-turn. That happened this afternoon.

Nevertheless, we had fun going around the book sale. It was so cheap. I bought some books for the kids, a book for my husband and two parenting books for myself. It was worth going there. It was their first day of sale so I got quite a good buy.

It’s a reality today. A lot of people are so in deep trouble. There are many reasons. They don’t know how to spend their money. The don’t care what will happen to their future if they keep on spending. Not only that, even if they don’t have enough money, they use whatever they can just so they can get what they want. They end up using credit cards. And they not only have one card. They use lots of them. And when they do, it’s hard to keep track of the money they spend or the credit they spent. They end up drowned in a neck-full credit. They end up with bad credit loans.

And you think they become hopeless and helpless, nowhere to go for help because nobody would trust to lend them money. Oh well, the good news is that there is a bad credit credit cards to help those who have bad credit history, giving them help and hope. And that is a good news indeed.

  • But a wise woman in the town called out to Joab, “Listen to me, Joab. Come over here so I can talk to you. …”

“I am one who is peace loving and faithful in Israel. But you are destroying an important town in Israel. Why do you want to devour what belongs to the LORD?”

And Joab replied, “Believe me, I don’t want to devour or destroy your town! That’s not my purpose. All I want is a man named Sheba son of Bicri from the hill country of Ephraim, who has revolted against King David. If you hand over this one man to me, I will leave the town in peace.”

“All right,” the woman replied, “we will throw his head over the wall to you.” Then the woman went to all the people with her wise advice, and they cut off Sheba’s head and threw it out to Joab. So he blew the ram’s horn and called his troops back from the attack. They all returned to their homes, and Joab returned to the king at Jerusalem.

    2 Samuel 20: 16, 19–22

    Encouragement for Today
A wise woman (who’s never even named) saved a whole town from destruction. How? She had the courage to engage Joab, who was battering down the city wall! She got his attention, ascertained who he was, asked him to listen to her, focused him on his real goal (destroy Sheba, not the city), and then went back to her people with a plan of action (kill Sheba and prove it to Joab). What a wonderful example of a woman not being afraid to speak up and take action! In fact, that’s exactly what made her “wise.”
