I finally made my own simple muffin… from scratch. It was not as hard as I thought it was. I think now that I know how to bake muffins from scratch, I prefer it from cupcakes. Muffin has less sugar and less butter. Imagine using 1 cup of sugar in cupcakes compared to only 2 tablespoons of sugar in muffins. They don’t look like real muffins. I think I didn’t do the proper way. I prepared it with the kids. I just let them mix, actually. I’m supposed to mix the eggs, milk and butter before mixing them in the dry ingredients… but the girl put the dry ingredients in the slightly beaten eggs first. LOL. I haven’t tried them yet because they’re still hot. But it smells real good. I can’t believe I am so into cakes and pastries now. Now that I am into these, need to check out what alli weight loss can do. Hehehe. Now I’m off to tasting my easy muffins, baked from scratch. Drool, you guys!
