Twilight Saga

Friday, March 27th, 2009

robert-pattisonI finally finished Breaking Dawn, the last book that’s part of the Twilight Saga authored by Stephenie Meyer. I can say it is a very disappointing epiphany. The climax of the story should have something of a fight, to prove that Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) was a queen. But they Stephenie left it out. No battles, no fights. All the preparations that were described previously was a waste.

I realized that only the Twilight has that chick flick… you know what I mean. But starting the second book, everything was just a normal Bella Swan story, right until the end. I am not satisfied with the way it ended.

I would be looking forward to seeing the New Moon movie regardless. I just wanna see how Robert Pattison project Edward Cullen. When I read the first book, I would imagine Edward in a different way. But the more I see him, the more I think he’s right for Edward Cullen.

But have I told you? We rarely go to the cinema to watch movies. So when the New Moon movie comes out in November, I would probably just watch it at the comfort of my living room, on TV, with one of those nice tv stands.

Extra Bulge

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Ever since I came back from the Philippines, I haven’t gone back to my daily routine of going to the park to run or jog. We’ve been really busy these days. I only spent 5 days here and off we (husband and I) to Cambodia. After that, we had to prepare for our trip to Cameron Highlands for the Cross-Cultural Training School’s students’ retreat.

Travels mean one thing though. Food, food, and more food. One can’t just resist to taste the local’s delicacy. My husband is also complaining of gaining some more “bulge” in the middle area. Both of us do need weight loss supplement, indeed.

Shopping Day

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Tomorrow is a shopping day. We are running out of food supplies. It’s been awhile since we haven’t dorocery shopping. We have been so busy we barely have enough time to buy things.  Anyways, here’s my grocery shopping list:

1. kitchen cleaning stuff

2. canned goods i.e. spaghetti sauce, sardines (my prinzy loves sardines), tuna, etc

3. pasta

4. meat (chicken, minced meat for spaghetti, beef cubes for beef stew)

5. sugar

6. if we have more time we can probably go hunt some sexy lingerie. how did this manage to come out in my grocery shopping list? LOL. it should be in my personal shopping list!

Anyways, we usually do our grocery shopping in Carrefour. It is just next to Subang Parade mall, just in case we decide to do a bit more shopping.

Camerons, Why Do I Love Thee?

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

I know I am still in Camerons mode. What to do… the place was just awesome. It’s a perfect place to go for retreat, family fun, and just pure holiday. So what do I love about Camerons?

1. cool weather

2. tea and scones in the middle of tea plantation

3. great view

4. beautiful people (must be the cool climate that makes them beautiful. LOL.)

5. water falls

6. historic hotels

7.  steam boat

8. indian food at Kumar’s, especially the banana leaf food. super delicious!

I don’t mind going back there over and over again.

Driving

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

One thing I love about going for a holiday in Malaysia  or near my town is that we could just drive to get to it. There are just so many places to visit around the area that we need not have to fly. It’s so convenient for us as a family to drive to where we’re going because we could take as many things as we could, for our convenience.

The last time we drove to our holiday destination was in Cameron Highlands. It sure was great having packed more than enough things. It’s always better to have more than having not enough, right? It would have nicer though if we drove our Volvo so we could go to the Boh Tea plantation to have tea and scones there again. But we traveled in a group so we had to borrow a van.

Talking about travels and cars remind of  finding out more about NC car insurance. Hmmm…
