Car DVD Players

Friday, April 24th, 2009

car-radioI love listening to music. Anywhere I go, whatever I do, I would always love it when there’s music in the backyard. I love listening to music when in the car as well. Sometimes, when we drive (hubby drives and i just sit), hubby and I would just keep quite and listen to music. We both love it light and easy music. And it helps to have a good car dvd player.

Where to get a good car dvd player, you may ask. I actually bumped into shopwiki.com. They offer you different types of car dvd players. They would also show which shop sells what. For example, you want to get a specific brand and specific type like Sony Cassette receiver. You just type it on and voila! Shopwiki.com will show you which shop you can get it from. They show the prices as well. So even before checking out the shop, you already know how much it would cost.

While you’re at it, you might wanna check their car audio and video directory or even GPS devices like the Magellan Maestro. They have just about any gadget you can think of having.

Double Planting and Overlapping Crops in Farm Town

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

For those who are Farm Town addict at Facebook, I just discovered something that could get you quick money. I am probably the last one to know, I want to share it anyway. They said you can quicken your coin earnings by doing a double planting and overlapping of crops. I googled about how to do it and here’s what I got:

To do it, stand in an area near where you have some empty space. Pick up your plow and hover it over the empty space. Right click, ignoring the menu that pops up, then bring your mouse over to where you would like to place your field (bit of guesswork involved here, as you don’t get the “shadow” to guide you). Then left click to plonk your field down. Takes a little practice until you get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s quite easy.

I believe this technique doesn’t work on Macs or using Firefox.

I haven’t tried this yet because I am using firefox, but will try later using internet explorer… when I have time.

Sling Box

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

It’s amazing. The high technology nowadays, that is. My husband just got an iPhone from a friend as a gift. And it really amazed me that he could get online anywhere he is. Not that I only knew about it now. I knew it even before. It’s different when you have it yourself though.  So with an i-Phone, you can get online, store a lot of files, listen to music, watch a movie like that of a Slingbox, get an organizer, etc. Amazing, isn’t it? And hubby got that for free. A blessing indeed!

Anne of Green Gables

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

I have a series of Anne of Green Gables cd’s with me. I think I have 12 of them. I took this quiz from facebook:  What character from a children’s Classic Bookare you? Answer: Anne.

Anne from Anne of Green Gables: You love to talk. You have a sunny, outgoing personality and many friends. You feel emotions very deeply. You make lifelong friends. You might think now that you can’t stand a certain someone, but you will probably marry them some day. You love poetry. You are proud to be from Canada (or at least have been to Canada at some point).

Not sure how I ended up having that result. I am not chatty. I’m only chatty when I blog. LOL. And I haven’t been to Canada. Although I would love to go there now while they are filming the New Moon. Hehehe.
