2 More Months

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

Yes. It’s 2 more months and we’re out of here. To where, I am not sure yet. Hubby seems so confident that we could find a house right before we move out. Or probably we’re hoping that the owners would continue to rent this house out to us. They are actually planning on buying a new house, a corner house this time because his mom is going to live with them. Apparently, his mom is too old to climb up and down the stairs so they’re thinking of buying a corner house so they could make an extension to accommodate her room. It would be very easy for them to do it since they have the money to do it.  They’d been in Holland for a managerial job posting. So I believe they can afford to buy a new house (and probably if they want, they can afford to do aluminum fence installation as well.

Now what hubby is doing is scouting for an available corner house in USJ 18. There were a few houses we saw but some of them were already sold out. I wonder why they keep the sign board there though. I hope that they (our houseowners) would consider one of those we saw. That way, we don’t have to move out.

Need a Fast Solution

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

I am desperately needing a fast solution to lose weight. I have 5 more days to do so. I just came back from a good holiday. When I say good holiday, it actually includes good eating out and dining in too. So there. Now I think I need some of those cheap fat burners. I wonder how they work though. Do you just pop it in and it melts the fats away? Does anybody try this before? Is it really effective? Perhaps it is effective… otherwise they won’t be selling in the market like hot pancakes.

Today is Good Friday

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Malaysia generally don’t observe Good Friday… let alone Holy Week. But I am sure Christians all over Malaysia are obsrving this special day when Jesus died on the cross to redeem God’s people.

There are different kinds of celebration for Good Friday. Others would re-enact the day Jesus was hanged on the cross. Others would be in silence. Others would wait until Easter Sunday to celebrate

But I cannot help it. I can’t stand the silence. I am rejoicing. I am in worship. I worship Him for who He is. I worship Him for His love and grace and mercy.

And I also pray…  constantly that He change my heart. I want my heart to be right before God. I want to be worthy of Jesus’ death of His resurrection… of His existence. I pray He gets the worship and the glory He deserves.

What is your prayer today?

Marketing Strategy

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

I don’t know if it is just in Malaysia or everywhere else but businesses here nowadays usually ask customers to become members of their companies. When you register you then get your membership cards along with customers’ benefits  of having discounts.

Let me think how many membership cards we have now:

1. Toys ‘R Us

2. MPH Bookclub

3. Nando’s Restaurant (yeah my family is a member of this restaurant)

4. Body Shop

5. Parkson’s

And a few more I can’t remember.

What about you? Have any memberships lately?

Bella’s Lullaby

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

I know I know… but I just love this music. So intense. So deep. Bella’s Lullaby by Robert Pattinson himself. I didn’t know that Rob is also a musician. He did this music, two actually… which are both included in the Twilight soundtrack.

You can tell I love classical music. I get really introspective when I listen to this kind of music. It does set my mood.

I am adding Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune also. It’s included in the Twilight soundtrack.

I’m supposed to post this in my main blog. But since hubby keeps track of that blog and since he said I had too much of Twilight in my system already, I posted all these here. Hehehe. And hope he doesn’t stumble accidentally here. LOL. Peace, Love.
