RV

Friday, May 8th, 2009

One thing that I haven’t tried yet is rv holiday. You can only that in the western countries, I think. So far, there’s nothing like that in Asia. It would probably be fun to do that, especially with your family. I don’t mind doing that if it is available in Malaysia, just to have an experience. The kids would probably love it too. They love going around and doing fun stuff. So I am sure they would appreciate it.

So… where to next? I mean for a family holiday? Not so sure. We just took our last “planned” holiday. So if we’re going off somewhere, it’s most likely that we are tagging along with hubby going to work.

Is It safe?

Friday, May 8th, 2009

I have been blogging much about thinking of popping in some diet pills. But I wonder if they are safe to use? Seems like a lot of people are using diet pills to lose weight. I used to take appetite suppressant when I was single. It truly worked. But it has affected my memory. Everytime I took it, I would sure forget a lot. And when it faded in my system, my memory worked well again. That’s the side effect of it. But not sure whether you get that side effect on all diet pills? Some might work without side effects though. Will have to ask around.

No Car

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Technically we don’t have a car. Peter gave his old Ford car for his father to use since we were using friend’s car who is now based in Australia. We basically are taking care of his Volvo car. But that car is in the workshop now. Something happened to the air con that’s why we needed to send it back to the car air con shop. Good thing our neighbour, who is a flight steward, let us use her car just in case we need it. It’s a small Kancil car which is okay to use. Kancil is a local car which makes it very easy to maintain since the spare parts are locally available. Another good thing about it is that you don’t pay much for auto insurance and it saves a lot of petrol. So while waiting for the Volvo car to be fixed, we are saving. Great, huh?

Noodles Galore

I have posted in my other blog that it’s good to go to Hong Kong for holiday because if you’re concern about spending money on food, you end up not eating much… which helps if you’re on a diet. I didn’t say that we didn’t eat much though because traveling really makes one hungry. So we found ourselves eating all the time. And you know what I would always order? Noodles. Yes. Noodles soup, friend noodles, noodles, and noodles that. Not only in Hong Kong I ordered noodles… but in Macau and China also. I just couldn’t resist eating noodles. And I could eat it everyday forever. Hehehe. And yes, I do need some kind of weight loss pills after our holiday. Or maybe not. I probably just need to exercise.

Farm Town

Friday, May 8th, 2009

One thing I noticed about having Farm Town and playing with others is that people come to you and ask for a favor of doing a harvest. They come to your farm, leave a note saying that if ever one is ready for harvest, they would come and work. Then you hire them because you don’t want to say no to a friend. But they never give you a favor back. Hmmm.. I guess that’s life. We just need to accept that fact.
