Encouragement for Today
What a wonderful prayer! Let the imagery sink in: God sending out his light and truth, guiding us to the glorious place where God lives. Isn’t that a thumbnail image of our life on earth? We walk by God’s light (which gives us warmth and life and helps us see all that is) and by his truth (which gives us direction). Together they lead us to a glorious destination—the place where God himself lives.
