USANA Reset

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

I have posted about USANA Reset in my other blog. Yes, I did the 5-day USANA Reset where I only had their Nutrimeal Shake for all my meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It wasn’t a very hard 5-day diet because the shake was very filling and I didn’t get hungry easily. The only thing is… I only lost 1 kg for 5 days of doing this diet. But I am happy nonetheless because I feel healthier now. My skin looks healthier too. My face looks shiny but it’s not oily. Now I don’t need to look for the best cosmetics nor the best eye cream because from this diet, my skin becomes healthier. I hope to be able to maintain this diet.

TV for Travelers?

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

I have a new discovery for travelers. You know when you travel you feel that you are so outdated because you don’t know what’s happening around you. And especially if you get your latest news on tv… you will be out of the loop for a while. But fret not, there’s this Slingbox that you can use so you can watch tv anywhere in the world. If you’re interested, you can google it up.

Miss Singapore World 2009′s Ris Low

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

I have been getting a lot of youtube links of Miss Singapore World 2009, Ris Low’s interviews with the Razor TV. I think it’s really sad that her winning didn’t make Singapore proud. I remember it happened with the Philippines Miss World last year when Janina won the pageant where it was obvious that she didn’t fare well during the interview portion. With Miss Ris Low, though… I saw that she really hit the spot during the interview portion. The question was: If she was given a choice, what would she choose, money or power. She confidently answered that it was a tough choice to make but she would chose Money because money can buy power. Of course, from that answer, she won the title. But when she was interviewed live after the pageant, her true self came out in the open and made all Singaporeans upset with the winning. Well, she actually resigned from her reign a few weeks after that because she, according to Singapore paper, she was convicted of credit card fraud. I wonder though if she can find a job after all those that happened to her. She can probably try doing a Sacramento Job Search. We don’t know. It’s just a pity that all these uncalled for happenings are actually happening. After what’s being said and done, I still think that the interview with Phua Chu Kang was really funny.

Birthday Party Postponed

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

We have postponed our planned birthday party on Saturday for our soon-to-be 5 year old boy. This past couple of weeks had been crazy for us. And it just peaks this week. So we had a “meeting” with our boy last night over dinner about postponing his birthday party and he was promised of a bigger birthday bash in November next month. He was happy to hear about the bigger party so he agreed.

That would give me time to do a clean up too. I have been cleaning here and there… mopping our tile flooring, washing our sheets and couch covers, etc… but it’s not enough. I need to do a spring cleaning. So I hope by the time comes, our house will be ready for a bigger party.

Waiting…

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

Right now, I am waiting for some answers. My husband and I have been praying for this since in the middle of the year this year. The chance has come. But I’m not so sure whether it’s really for me and husband or it’s just for my husband. Well, the past few weeks, I kind of getting nervy and all that. But today, I am laying it all to God. If it’s not for me, then… it must not be His will. My husband has been encouraging me that whatever brings God the greatest glory, then we will go for it.

So while waiting for the verdict, I’m thinking I’ll probably go to my husband’s office and help him sort out some stuff… or maybe clean up his office furniture… or maybe just be there for him. But maybe I better stay at home. Hmmm… I know I sound a bit confusing. I am not confused though. I know that God knows best.
