“Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.”
Ecclesiastes 11:6
encouragement for today
Again, here is practical advice for being productive. In the end, we don’t know exactly what will produce results. Many jobs require investments of time and energy with no guarantee of results. Sales people must contact many people to get sales; teachers plant many “seeds” of knowledge and never know what will “take” in a student. We have to keep planting and keep doing what is required. Profit will come, if we’ve “planted enough seed.”
