Laid Off

I had a chat with a friend the other day and he mentioned that the garments company where his wife worked has closed down. They will be transferring to Bangladesh, since labor costs there would be a lot cheaper. It was sad—i can imagine how many people lost their jobs!

But then again, business people had to look into what would be best for their companies, right? Ah, this is one of the times that I am grateful I am just a stay at home mom. I am spared of the hassles of being laid off! At the same time, I am praying that our economy would get better.
