Psalm 68:9-10

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

“You sent abundant rain, O God,
to refresh the weary land.
There your people finally settled,
and with a bountiful harvest, O God,
you provided for your needy people.”

Psalm 68:9–10

encouragement for today
Do you feel needy today? (If you do, you’re in touch with your true spiritual condition.) God knows our needs, and he delights in meeting them. Not just spiritual needs, either, though those are the source needs. Here we see God refreshing the land, providing a bountiful harvest—in other words, working in the physical realm. Whatever you need, God knows it and stands ready to provide it. Trust in him, and go out and do whatever reaping of the harvest you need to lay hold of what God has given.

Reusable Waste

Monday, March 29th, 2010

I just stumbled upon this website at http://www.nviro.com where this international corporation that turns a waste into renewable energy. That is really interesting to see a wastewater sludge or bio-organic wastes turn from waste to energy. N-viro licenses this technology to municipalities and private companies. Imagine opportunity fuels that could be wasted but because of this latest technology, it can be used as an alternative energy. How’s that for a clean coal technology? This video can talk more about it:

Cosmic Element

Monday, March 29th, 2010

“God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Ephesians 3:10–11

encouragement for today
God’s plan involves a cosmic element: his reputation in heaven among angels is at stake. It’s not about us; it’s about God’s character. Your faith in Jesus upholds God’s reputation. That’s what his eternal plan is all about—for his redeemed people to bring glory to God through what he’s done for us in Christ Jesus. So when what you do brings God glory, angels are watching and wondering and cheering, and God’s purpose is fulfilled. When you’re part of God’s purpose being fulfilled, that’s fulfillment indeed.

Writer’s Block

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Have you had one of those moments that no matter how much you purge your brain and no matter how much you want to start writing, juices just don’t want to come out? I think this happens a lot if you are doing so many things at the same time. And it happens when you’re really pressured to finish some things.

College pressure. Most of us have gone through it. We are so busy in finishing term papers we don’t have a time to do other papers. And we haven’t even started yet and words just don’t come out. And we’re cramming for examples of term papers. Do you have to write on crime and punishment essays? Fret not. There are books available for you to read so you have an idea on what you’re going to write.

And best of all there are essays available online that you can get right on the spot. Yes, it’s trues. The contents are all original so you don’t need to worry about plagiarism and all that. What more, some companies give you discounts. Overnightessay can do just that. You don’t have to worry about meeting deadlines. They can write and can even do essay reviews for you. While you have other things to finish to meet the requirements or your academic studies, why not take it easy and have them write yours?

HTC Touch

Friday, March 26th, 2010

I am not so much into cellular phones. For many years, I have gone by and survived without it. There are a few reasons why. For one, I don’t like texting and I don’t like to get text messages that are so hard to read. There are a lot of miscommunication going on because it is not so clear in the text messages. Another thing is it can be addictive to send forwarded messages. Thus, you’ll spend more. There are times that I wished I had because of emergency situations… but inspite of not having a cellphone, I still went though those times. And so why need one? Hmmm… I know that I have to get one some day.

Actually, my friend gave me her HTC touch phone. But since my hubby’s cellphone just died, I gave it to him.
