I learned just last week that one of my closest friend’s father died of tuberculosis two weeks ago. I really felt sorry and sad for her because it was all so sudden and his dad is a very funny and friendly man. I only met his dad once and I instantly liked him. Her dad refused to go to the hospital for financial reasons and he believed that it was just a minor health problem but it turned out to be fatal. I realized that we must not take our health for granted because we do not know the things that might happen. So, we must all be ready and be pro –active like buying even cheap insurance and going to monthly check-ups.

Tuberculosis
Thursday, May 27th, 2010Credit History
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010Credit history is an individual’s record of its monetary transactions, specifically their past borrowing or repaying of money. This is also true to companies. This is used by credit card companies so that they can assess whether their costumer has the capacity to pay or is responsibly paying for their debts. The data given by the individual or company is then passed to credit bureaus that are tasked to provide free credit report every twelve months to its customers through the passage of Fair and Accurate Reporting Act of 2003 (FACTA). This act can help consumers monitor their credit records so that lending companies cannot cheat them into paying more.
There and Back Again

Yep. I gained back 1kg of weight after my holiday break with my sister. I thought I was careful on what I ate. I guess I wasn’t careful enough. And so to make the long story short, I need to find the top rated diet pills and see if I need to use some. I really wanna lose weight again. My weight loss journey is some sort of an adventure. One day I lose, the next day I gain.
Talk Less
Saturday, May 8th, 2010“If we would talk less and pray more about them, things would be better than they are in the world: at least, we should be better enabled to bear them.”
—John Owen
Found this on my sidebar today for today’s quotemeal. It is true that instead of talking about it more, we should talk less and pray more. There are just too many to talk about if we start talking. But if we see people and we think they’re sinning, it’s better to pray for them, rather than talk about them.
Last time when Paris Hilton was locked up because of driving offenses, everybody talked and judged about how spoiled brat she was. I bent my knees in prayer for her. Now, all eyes are on Lady Gaga… and it’s just not pairs of eyes that look at her but those are judging eyes… condemning eyes. Instead, I said a prayer for her. And no, I don’t know any of her music. I just saw her on some web pages, the way she dressed up and all that.
Some girls could be so thin we think they’re probably using and reading diet pill reviews… they’re so thin we go gaga over them. But in reality, those celebrities need prayers.
I might sound corny… but really true… we need to pray more for people… not judge them nor condemn them…
Isaiah 50:10
Saturday, May 1st, 2010“Who among you fears the LORD
and obeys his servant?
If you are walking in darkness,
without a ray of light,
trust in the LORD
and rely on your God.”
Isaiah 50:10
encouragement for today
The way can be dark at times, so dark that there’s not even a ray of light. This verse tells us to trust in God even in the darkness, to rely on him no matter what. Even if there is no ray of light, we can trust in him who is the light. This is what Jesus himself had to do, even as he hung on the cross. Darkness is never the final reality; the light always overcomes the darkness!
