Last night, I watched Alice in Wonderland (the one by Tim Burton) with my roommate. We thought it was funny and the characters were very unique. I especially loved the Red Queen who obviously loves red. She was very bratty and selfish and unkind. She was also so small that I thought she needed hgh and to compensate for her being tiny she had a large head. I could not totally blame her for her selfish attitude; it may be because of the way she was brought up. Or her sister, the White queen, was more favored by her parents. Maybe it was just a bad attitude tolerated by many but it turned to be a scary psychological disorder, bordering on being histrionic. I was fascinated by her character because it was very imperfect. She’s one of the people who we all want to be but we simply can’t.
Altogether, the characters were beautifully portrayed and relatable. The movie was so colorful and full of life. And it was not the kind of movie that I thought Alice in Wonderland would be.
