Academically, research is what I love doing best. I would rather pass a 6,000-word paper than to take an oral examination. Oral exams make me nervous and though I work well when I’m nervous, I don’t want to go through that kind of anxiety because I experience hallucinations during those moments.
Researching is good because you can always re-check the facts you have written and you have days to finish it. Unlike in exams where you only have hours to finish it and it has to be written legibly, which I’m not really capable of doing. Research also broadens your knowledge since you don’t only read things about your topic but also trivia like weight loss tips, or interesting things you didn’t know before like if someone smiles without crow’s feet, it’s not a genuine smile.
It also enhances your writing skills whether you write serious topics or fiction or comic strip. Researching is helpful in improving ones patience especially if you can’t find any resources relevant to your topic.
The best thing about researching is you can do it a night before deadline and still get a good grade.
