To Reach the Goal

In one of my daydreams, I was working in an NGO with lots of children and at the same time studying. The setting is not in Philippines, but still somewhere in Asia. UN is my goal but it’s a very long journey before I get there. The problem lies in the time I spend working. I would like to work with a busy schedule and feel the fulfillment afterwards. Since I envision myself to be working steadfastly and my schedule would be hectic, I won’t have time taking my Master’s degree in Community Development or in Learning and Language Education. Then I recalled that my university offers distance learning program so I could always study abroad while working. I also looked up for the best online degrees in the internet to broaden my choices. One my plans are to work first so I can save money for my Master’s and gain experience before studying.

The drawback of daydreaming, aside from wasting my time, is that it does not work the way you want it to work. Not always. But I know that I have a goal and I am going to reach that goal.
