I have invited my friends over to come for the weekend so we could do barbecue. We ended up having a blast. My friend Jojo started singing and dancing. Along came Maria and joined him. It has been long since I didn’t have this kind of fellowship where you can just let your hair down and have fun. We laughed so hard until our stomachs ached. LOL.
I love hosting barbecue parties. It is so relaxing. There’s no need to worry if your recipe works or not. You just marinate it and put it on either electric grill or manual grill where you use charcoal to cook the meat.

Giving of Ang Pao or red envelopes in Chinese is a tradition where Chinese people give gifts to their relatives on Chinese New Year. The tradition is that only married couples give to younger siblings or relatives. The red ang paos usually have a bill inside. It doesn’t matter how much. It could be from 1 dollar to whatever-you-can afford amount. We are not Chinese but my kids receive ang paos on Chinese New Year because I have Chinese in-laws and Chinese friends.
