Arn

Friday, October 29th, 2010

I love watching movies that has centuries old setting. And my husband knows that fully well.  And so the other day, he went to buy this movie called Arn. It was set when the Crusade was still happening. Actually all those Crusade movies don’t depict Christianity well. But they actually happened.

Anyways, we watched it on my hubby’s computer because when we tried it on our dvd player, the sound didn’t come out. I wonder how our viewing experience if it’s on the rack mount computer but nevertheless, we had a time of rest.

It’s been quite crazy without my husband around… and my husband did have a busy meeting days… so it was cool to just sit down, put our feet up and watch a movie.

Should We or Shouldn’t We?

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

My husband has been thinking of getting a gps tracker. He’s been driving for almost 2 decades in Malaysia now but sometimes, he still gets lost, especially when he’s going to Cheras or Puchong. When we went to Cheras to register our son for his primary school, we almost got late because he made a wrong turning.

Now, if you’ve been to Malaysia and especially if you’re new here and you don’t have one of those gps tracking devices, you would surely get to another town (not your destination, of course), once you make a wrong (just one wrong) turning. The best thing about having gps is the micro gps tracking logger where it logged where you’ve been so you can easily track your direction next time you’re  going there.

And so now, we’re thinking… should we get a gps tracker, or just rely on the map and signages? hmmm…

Blowing Balloons

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

Tomorrow is my son’s 6th birthday. So tonight, hubby and I were busy blowing balloons. We didn’t have the pump – or we did I just didn’t know where I kept it – so we blew the balloons manually. I guess I’m gonna have a sore jaw tomorrow morning. LOL.

My husband is doing the “Happy Birthday” sign now. He’s really good at doing it. Also, we couldn’t find the box cutter so he basically is using the kitchen knife to cut the A4 size paper into half.

Anyways, we’re not having a party for him tomorrow. But I prepared some party bags for his classmates tomorrow. Will buy cake to cut in his class tomorrow too. We decided to join his birthday party and my girl’s birthday party. Their birthdays are exactly one month apart.

So tomorrow will be quite quiet.

Green Tea

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

I started drinking green tea a couple of months back. I kind of stopped a few weeks ago and started on a soda. But I am seeing the fruit of drinking soda now… a one notch up on my weighing scale. Arrggg!!! Sooo not good. And so I started drinking green tea again. I had to walk to the nearest shell station (they do have convenient shop too) to buy me some bottles. I am using Lipton green tea for now. I can’t find the one I used in Thailand.

Anyways, I guess green tea is good for cleansing colon too. If you don’t know where to find colon cleansing pill, that is. Really, green tea has lots of benefits for overall health. I hope to drink more of this. Gosh. i just love drinking soda too. I am also hoping that I could cut down my soda intake.

Teenage Crush

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

I just posted in my other blog about reconnecting with my teenage crush. Of course now, he is not my crush anymore. It only lasted when I was in college. But mind you, I had such a huge crush on him. It was very bad coz nobody knew anything about it and I kept it to myself (until now). And because they were all inside me and I wasn’t able to share, zits were like springing up like mushrooms in a thundery night. LOL.

There was no salicylic acid face wash last time, but I did look for products that had salicylic acid in them so I could use on my face. It did help a little. But really… I am suffering from acne scars now. Sigh. I am using a scar serum but I just started so I am not seeing any progress yet. I hope they will truly go off as promised.
