Lost her Wedding Ring

Sunday, May 29th, 2011

A friend of mine unfortunately lost her wedding ring. They say that when you lose your wedding ring, it’s bad luck. But I don’t believe in it. Now she’s afraid to tell her hubby because he might get furious. But I doubt that will happen too. So she went back to the jeweler where they had their wedding rings made. She asked for another quote and was given a catalog on “how to find my ring size.” She had to do the process all over again so that she can have her wedding ring again.

She is a bit worried and although she did not lose that special thing intentionally, she would still rather want to have the first ring that has been blessed during their wedding ceremony.

New Camera

Thursday, May 26th, 2011

I am eye-ing a new camera. I just told my husband if I have extra, I would like to buy a Sony 990 dslr. I miss my Sony a380. I sold it to a friend after buying my Nikon D90. I guess it bore a sentimental value as it was my first ever dslr that I bought for myself.

If I can take payday loan now, I would probably straight away buy a second camera. LOL. But then again, I have to think twice about buying a new camera because I still need to buy an external flash.

A photographer friend told me once that photography can get more and more expensive. I believe him now.

Cleft Palate

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Do you know of any mothers who have given birth to babies that have cleft palate? What is a cleft palate by the way?

According to Wikipedia, Cleft lip (cheiloschisis) and cleft palate (palatoschisis), which can also occur together as cleft lip and palate, are variations of a type of clefting congenital deformity caused by abnormal facial development during gestation. A cleft is a fissure or opening—a gap. It is the non-fusion of the body’s natural structures that form before birth. Approximately 1 in 700 children born have a cleft lip and/or a cleft palate.

While genetics is one of the factors that causes to this deformity, drugs such as Topamax may also be the cause. So if you suspect that your child’s case is caused by this drug, there are Topamax lawsuit practitioners out there who can help you with your case. Do not let you and your child suffer from dangerous effects of drugs.

You may need to contact these people if that’s the case:

Teenager’s Concern

Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Probably one of the most embarrassing things a teenager can experience is having nodular or cystic acne. Developing skin problems or blemishes like pimples are just one of the common incidents in the puberty stage. Having them greatly affect their self-esteem and confidence. They often find themselves aloof and shy and others develop inferiority complex.

I’m just glad that I did not go through a lot of pimple breakouts during those times. Had I acquired those unsightly pimples, worse having acne, I would have gone to the professionals for nodular acne treatment or some other medical care and procedures, and doing these means shelling out money and time. Thankfully, I did not have to go through all these.

Interested in a Beauty School?

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

Are you fond of doing make up? Do you look at your friend’s face and have that urge to do make up for them? If you say yes, to both, welcome to the club. I do feel that way. It’s not that when I see friends I think they’re ugly. No. I just feel like enhancing my make up skills. I always love to enhance looks by doing make up for myself and for my friends.

If given a chance, I would go to a beauty school, like that in Phoenix beauty school. They do offer a whole new approach to cosmetology education and I’m quite curious as to how they do it. Maybe when I go back to US next time, it would be great to check them out personally.
