Graduation speeches are supposed to be epic, or so they say. But this epic-ness is certainly elusive according to many experiences shared. For one thing, speeches are tiring not just for the speakers but for the listeners as well, maybe even more so. Valedictorians share their struggles, their hopes and try to encourage their fellow graduates. But sometimes it has become a routine and everything they say was the same as those who have there before them.
The best speeches, however, are given by those who already experienced life and shared their failures and triumphs. These kinds of speeches just leave me teary-eyed and more motivated. Students would then go out to the world, look for communications, physician, architectural or Audiologist Jobs, armed with knowledge, encouragement, and resumes by their side and their idealism as their armor.
