She Has a Cancer

Monday, July 20th, 2009

I just learned from my parents that one of my aunties is having a cancer. No it’s not mesothelioma. It’s cancer in her uterus. My parents are saying she’s not undergoing any treatment or chemotherapy. Instead, she’s preparing herself to meet God. That is very noble. Sometimes, some people, when they discover they seek all the medical treatments, hoping to survive. Some do, and some don’t, no matter the treatment. My aunty’s thinking… she’s going to die anyway, so why prolong her agony? Hmmmm… why not? To meet God sooner is much much better, right?

Michael Jackson’s Death

Friday, June 26th, 2009

It’s all over the news. After 50 years, Michael Jackson’s life had finally reached its end. It was a sudden death, they say. The true cause of his death is still under investigation. Could it be due to medical malpractice? Wrong diagnosis? Wrong treatment? Nobody’s certain for sure.

There’s actually a lot of medical malpractice going on. That’s why there’s the existence of Rochester medical malpractice attorney to help you prepare your case. There are many types of medical malpractice. Some doctors can make mistakes just like that.

Of course I’m not blaming the doctors nor the hospital for MJ’s death. Like I said, the cause of his death is still not certain.

Noodles Galore

Friday, May 8th, 2009

I have posted in my other blog that it’s good to go to Hong Kong for holiday because if you’re concern about spending money on food, you end up not eating much… which helps if you’re on a diet. I didn’t say that we didn’t eat much though because traveling really makes one hungry. So we found ourselves eating all the time. And you know what I would always order? Noodles. Yes. Noodles soup, friend noodles, noodles, and noodles that. Not only in Hong Kong I ordered noodles… but in Macau and China also. I just couldn’t resist eating noodles. And I could eat it everyday forever. Hehehe. And yes, I do need some kind of weight loss pills after our holiday. Or maybe not. I probably just need to exercise.

Suppress It

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

I used to take appetite suppressant before. That was like 12 years ago. It was really effective as I didn’t have any appetite at all to eat nor to drink. I was very successful in that sense. I lost weight like crazy, having 25 inch-waste line (don’t ask me what the size now though). I was very happy, being slim and all. I wish I can do the same thing now too. I know it’s impossible because you need to have a doctor’s prescription to have it.

I used to get it from a farmacy that didn’t care about seeing doctor’s prescription. Hehehe. I couldn’t get it from any major pharmacies. So I’m quite sure I wouldn’t be able to get that now here either. So I’ll just wish.

Extra Bulge

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Ever since I came back from the Philippines, I haven’t gone back to my daily routine of going to the park to run or jog. We’ve been really busy these days. I only spent 5 days here and off we (husband and I) to Cambodia. After that, we had to prepare for our trip to Cameron Highlands for the Cross-Cultural Training School’s students’ retreat.

Travels mean one thing though. Food, food, and more food. One can’t just resist to taste the local’s delicacy. My husband is also complaining of gaining some more “bulge” in the middle area. Both of us do need weight loss supplement, indeed.
