Two of our friends offered to take care of the kids so hubby and I could go out alone. We took up the offer since the last time we went out alone was last year in December. Also, it was a good time since this was the time of year where hubby and I (we were not married that time yet) prayed and fasted together for God’s will for us – whether we should step forward from being “just friends” to “more than just friends” relationship. That was 6 years ago, during the holy week.
And so we went to Sunway Pyramid (mall) and had Tony Roma’s for our lunch.
Had Bountiful beef ribs with french fries and broccoli. This, I tell you, is to die for. Really awesome.
Hubby wanted to surprise me to a spa, but it was a wrong time (first day of what women get once a month). So we went for a movie instead and took the couple seat.
Hope everybody had a great time, great food and at a great place with great people during the weekend. I just had.

It’s Chinese New Year Holiday and it’s time to visit friends. My girl, visiting her Chinese friend. Mandarin orange – only available on Chinese New Year season. In Chinese culture, it is considered luck to give Honey Mandarin Orange especially on CNY holidays.
Have you ever heard/tried papaya wine? I had a taste of it when we visited my future sis-in-law for CNY. It was very sweet. I couldn’t drink much because I’m still nursing my girl. But I had a taste of it. I don’t mind having it next time when I no longer nurse my girl.

A Bunch A Month
One of my husband’s goal in life is to make his wife happy (cheeky smile). And one of the things that can make his wife happy is by getting flowers. He started giving me flowers after his first visit to Phuket last December 2001. I was awed. Since then, he had been giving me flowers once a month. So for six years now, I’ve been getting a bunch a month.
Last week, he went to Cameron Highlands for work. When he came back this weekend, this was what I got. And since my boy loves flowers too, he got a bunch of roses. And of course, my girl won’t be left out so she got hers too. We’re a family of flower suckers.
Everybody loves weekend, it is the time for leisure, recreation and other religious activities. And when everyone is having a grand time, you want to capture it and share it with others. That’s why Weekend Snapshot is here for you. Come and join the fun here.
